Semantics of Imagination & Spatialization Thinking

Workshops - Seminars

OVERVIEW

Over the years, I carried out visual and theoretical research projects across different  countries and cultures, which has led me to experiment with and develop educational programmes, seminars, and workshops that have become fundamental parts of my artistic practise.

These activities are meant as tools for imaginative research to stimulate interdisciplinary discussions on visual culture and foster a deeper comprehension of the cognitive pathways involved in the formation of an one's mental landscapes as well as the essential role of creative activity as a process of knowledge.

The work method is designed to create a framework through theoretical sessions, lectures, practical tasks, and group conversations, with the aim of investigating the semantics of imagination from a symbolic, philosophical, and physiological perspective.

Visual reflection tools such as spatial thinking, mind diagrams, and conceptual maps are used to reveal both the intuitive and intellectual processes involved in the creative act, to investigate the mediating potential of images, and to improve the intelligence of body gestures.

GALLERY

Since the workshop activities focus on the network of relationships that underlie the cognitive process, the spectrum of applicability is vast, including: art, cinema, theater, storytelling, design, content development, and a wide range of academic subjects.
